Daniel Radcliffe and Zoe Kazan in What If (2013)

Trivia

What If

Edit
Daniel Radcliffe said in an interview that his role as Wallace is the first contemporary character he's ever played, having previously starred in mostly fantasy and historical projects. He said, "There was something lovely about just stepping up on set and talking."
In Canada and the UK, the movie was called "The F Word." Hollywood changed it to avoid an R rating.
Casey Affleck and Mary Elizabeth Winstead were originally cast, but the film makers later decided that they should go for younger actors. It is therefore somewhat ironic that Zoe Kazan, the actress who replaced Mary Elizabeth Winstead, is in fact older than Winstead.
Based on the play "Toothpaste & Cigars" by T.J. Dawe en Michael Rinaldi.
During the filming in Dublin, Daniel Radcliffe spent a night partying with the Dublin Minor Gaelic footballers at a house party in celebration of them winning the All-Ireland minor championship. He was however, on set to film the next morning at 8 o'clock.
