While filming in Dublin Airport a priest approached the three actors playing the Rabbis and asked them if they needed any help around the airport. The costume designer/co-producer was delighted with herself.
One of the actors playing a hit-man was nearly arrested after producing a gun while filming outside the Four Courts. While permission was granted to film there by the local council, the police man thought that the actor was trying to shoot a journalist: The director/cameraman.
Rory Doherty, who plays the scientist who makes his own world in a chamber, essentially making him a God of that world, works as a carpenter in real life, just like the big man himself.
