Louis Pine believes he's a genetic werewolf on his dad's side and starts of vlog to prove it. He and his friend Mauricio try a series of tests to prove it, but those all turn out negative. They later check out a shelter Louis believes is a werewolf crib. Mauricio gets attacked by something.

Louis sees a bit of blood and a torn piece of a shirt on a stick and an inconclusive video on Mauricio's phone of whatever attacked him and caused Mauricio to run away. Louis finds Mauricio at his home with an injury on his hand, but Mauricio wants Louis to go away and leave him alone. He says it's just a dog. Louis feels bad and explains that he wouldn't be bitten since he's already a werewolf, but Mauricio could be.

It's an old fashioned werewolf intervention, complete with colloidal silver (Louis made it himself) and sterile bandages. Unfortunately his neighbor Sydney wants to help.

Acquired lycanthropy can be cured in the first 48 hours post-bite, any genetic lycanthrope knows that. Now if Louis can just convince Mauricio. Sydney wants to help, but the other friends are skeptical.

Mauricio's still mad at Louis even though Louis cured him of lycanthrope. Sydney tries to help out with his tests. The full moon is coming, and Louis thinks that testing his muffin eating resistance will help him prove he's a werewolf.

Louis goes to the werewolf crib with canned muffins in preparation for his first transformation. Sydney calls him by video to see how he's doing. She falls asleep. When Sydney wakes up, she doesn't see Louis in the crib on camera anymore.

Louis is disappointed the morning after the full moon that he didn't transform into a werewolf, so he sulks in the werewolf crib. Sydney tries to cheer him up by telling him there's still the next moon. Seth Greening from Seth on Survival shows up and films a special episode for his channel, where he explains to Louis that not all werewolves begin transforming in their teens and that certain types of werewolves only transform on certain full moons. Seth also talks about hybrids and theorizes that he is 1% a son of Thunder or something else. Louis notes on his own channel later that Seth gave him some Seth on Survival gear and his mom grounded him.

Louis' mom Loretta is mad he stayed out all night. Over dinner she says he's grounded. She's worried. Louis insists his dad is a werewolf. She lets Louis meet his dad's twin, Uncle Lincoln, who was released from a psych ward.

Uncle Lincoln says they're dragon werewolves who transform with the dragon moon, Loretta is a witch who kept him in human form, and the dad wolfed out and ran away. He tells Louis to keep mementos. Louis calls Loretta, who kicks him out.

After a few more tests show Louis isn't a werewolf, he lets his mom and friends know he's done with his werewolf antics, but Sydney tries to convince him it's still real and he could hurt someone when the upcoming dragon moon rises.

Sydney checks on Louis, who is at home sick. She warns him that tonight is the dragon moon and he's putting everyone in danger by not getting to the crib. Louis accidentally hurts Sydney by pushing her down, and then he runs to the crib.

Louis knows that his sickness is because he's about to transform into a werewolf, putting an end to any doubt from his mom, friends, and himself. He nervously makes sure the crib is prepared and answers Sydney when she shows up outside the door to check on him. The full moon rises, causing Louis to wolf out. He becomes hairy and disfigured, and his fangs break his braces. As Sydney is heading back home, she hears a howl that appears to have come from Louis She spots a wolf-like creature watching her from the woods.

Sydney hears the howl and returns for Louis. She sees him in wolf form and instinctively pulls out her fangs, which seems to scare him off into the woods. Sydney is also surprised by her real fangs.
