The Awakening of the Insects

The first temptation is to define it beautiful but terrible of confuse against the lines from IMDB storyline.

Venerable Mr. Lam, worker in a pawnshop, touched, at first sight, by dementia form.

Ms. Meng, a pure eccentric Taoist fortuneteller and a sort of exorcist. A beheaded stuffed tiger. A form of divination and a sea of insects. Few rings. Their confrontation.

Not being familiar with traditions explored / used by animation, enough was , for me, to see it as a form of special fairy tale. Or as expression of intention of directors to introduce the viewer in the mind of characters , especially Mr. Lam /- the day after exorcism exercise can be a nice pledge in this sense. This is its beauty source and the basic motif for not regret to see it.

A film about past, loss, traditions and two old people looking for help each other.
