A really good looking cast carries this rainy day thriller. As usual with these types, the acting is just so-so, esp the actor playing Zander(?) The actress playing Alicia was fairly strong, however.
If you are into "The Wrong..." type of movies or any psycho neighbor/ex/poolboy type of thriller, you would probably enjoy this.
Gorgeous home and clothing, to boot.

It felt like one of those "Lifetime" type TV movies, and there's nothing wrong with that if you know what to expect, and are OK with it, of which I was.
The story actually was interesting and believable from the start until towards the end, but then the nonsense, ridiculous and cringeworthy plot-hole scenes started towards the end. As if a small framed girl can overpower two men, one of them weighing probably three times more than her and easily one foot taller. It was just infantile and lazy writing, and it's odd there's no mention who the writer is. The terrible 15 minute ending alone was reason for my subtracting 2-3 stars off the rating. Yes, it's that bad compared to the rest of the film.
The cinematography and that gorgeous house setting was on point, but the score was loud and overbearing - typical of a low budget B-film. The casting and performances were decent, especially Crystal-Lee Naomi as Alicia, who only has 13 acting credits under her belt. But the much more experienced Jennifer Freeman as Morgan - with 31 acting credits, was awful right from the start. She was unconvincing, too aloof, and seemed like it was her first acting gig. Nevertheless, I did sit through the entire not-too-greatly paced 84 mins, and thus it's a generous 5/10 from me.

Needless to say that I had never heard about this 2021 thriller titled "Twisted House Sitter" prior to sitting down and watching it here in 2023. I had the opportunity to watch it, and since it was a movie that I had never seen, nor heard about, of course I opted to give it a chance.
Writer Daniel Whidden put together a fair enough script and storyline. Sure, it was somewhat generic and predictable, but it proved to be entertaining enough for what it was. And I suppose that die hard fans of the thriller genre will get a kick out of the movie.
I wasn't familiar with the cast ensemble in the movie, and that was something I enjoyed. It is nice to see new talents on the screen and don't accidentally associate them with previously portrayed characters in other movies. The acting performances in "Twisted House Sitter" were okay.
I found "Twisted House Sitter" to be a watchable, but somewhat bland thriller, and there are far more thrilling and interesting thrillers readily available out there. It is the type of movie that you watch once, then shelf it and never look at it again.
My rating of director Courtney Miller's 2021 movie "Twisted House Sitter" lands on a four out of ten stars.

Poorly acted, low budget, straight-to-TV quality movie. The story is so bland and basic it was hard to sit through.

Oof, I went between a high 6 and a 7 but honestly, this sublime cheese kept me entertained throughout. If you're in need of a popcorn thriller, check this one out! Sure, it's been done before but I'm happy Tubi pulled in all the best obsession tropes to turn out a fun story. I loved it.

A down on her luck Uber driver drops off a wealthy client at the airport and once the client jets off, the driver decides to live the high life at the client's house without the client knowing. This is a Tubi Tv streaming exclusive with excellent production values, fast pacing and likeable characters. If you think the plot sounds like it couldn't possibly happen in 2021, the way the story is written, it makes perfect sense. All in all, a fun ride and the time went by quickly. This is very much a popcorn thriller in the style of Lifetime or Hallmark.

It was typical but a little better than the regular Lifetime Movies. I actually enjoyed the movie ! I watched it on Tubi, I didn't select the movie it just happened to start playing after another movie I watched. So I decided to see what it was about. It kept me interested and didn't bore me at all.
I actually didn't hate this movie. I think Alicia was drop dead gorgeous! Her psycho guest was not as attractive. There were things throughout the movie that were hard to believe would happen in real life and for that this was a bad movie. I mean, at least get the little things right! If this movie was a bit more believable this would be a good attempt at a LM. But it was good if you like drama with holes in it. Oh, and unbelievable scenarios.
The story was great. I was kept interested throughout and particularly enjoyed the characters of Charlie and Alicia. The actors who portrayed them were excellent. Can't wait for Twisted RV Sitter!

I enjoyed this movie. It didn't seem low budget, though I don't know what the budget was. It had a beautiful cast. I would've liked more character development, but I feel each character did well in bringing their characters to life. I especially loved the female leads. I adored childhood best. I could totally see this situation happening in real life, so I can appreciate that they didn't have all the characters making stupid decisions, but there was two who did.
Overall, this was a great movie and worthy of a watch. If it was a little longer to develop the characters, it would have been even better. But, It did what it was supposed to do, entertain.

Good cast, Great Story line. Decent actors. Part 2 is worth checking out as well. Only, thing is certain parts will piss you off. I really think they could played around with some of plot and climax scenes The suspense is worthy. Man I won't a Alisha Roberts so bad, she is so fine. Morgan was cuter in younger days. Enough about how find these women are. I need to get these required characters in. They could have choose a better boyfriend and you'll know what I'm talking about once you watch or if you've watched already you know what I'm talking about. Other than that this is in my watch again list. Left off good for part 2.
