Wow. How do these terrible movies keep getting greenlit? Are the viewers truly so desperate that they'll put up with anything?
How many times can a 'bad cell phone connection' or 'misunderstanding' happen in these things? And the hackneyed trope of the mixed race couple -- ugh. As a POC myself, I am so SICK of that. Not to mention, the bride and groom had about as much chemistry and believability as a madly-in-love couple as two strangers who just met. So stupid!
The concept is that an old family home must be sold. It supposedly has 15 bedrooms (and a teeny tiny kitchen - totally believable.) The current owner, a grandmother, is unable to keep up the house by herself. So her real estate agent grand-daughter and idiot, has listed it for sale. Along comes the handsome, pleasant and very fit Mr. Wallace, and the idiot grand-daughter immediately commences behaving like an idiot. No surprise there.
The writing was horrible. Horrible. (Surely there must be great scripts out there that are being passed over?) The acting from the two sisters was equally dire. And what was with the hair on the lead actress? Did they not have a hair and makeup artist on the film? Sadly, her hair was bedraggled and very unbecoming. Not her fault, but a distraction.
The Gram and Mr. Wallace were the better actors, but it didn't take much to attain that achievement. Mr. Wallace's brother was also a dreadful character. Seriously, who WRITES this garbage? It wouldn't have taken that much to make it somewhat believable. And to make the lead actress's character less of an idiot.
I made it to the 26 minute mark and realized I had better things to do. Like clean the bathroom.
