If there is any thriller movies in bengali film that is baishe srabon and after 10 years mukhosh is the best thriler , that I watch PLease goi to theatres to watch this film best film ever . #SVF.
When an experienced police officer of the Kolkata Police is found murdered, the department seeks the investigative skills of criminologist Kinshuk Roy (Anirban Bhattacharya), as the murderer has left behind a cryptic clue. Kinshuk's investigations take him to many places, but not before another policeman ends up gruesomely murdered. This time, Kolkata Police needs to protect its reputation and act in a haste, because Kinshuk has already started sniffing the motive behind the murders, and smells that a much decorated officer, with whom he is working closely, may be in the line of fire. Simultaneously, he needs to confront someone whom he has almost revered.
"Mukhosh" is a fast paced crime thriller playing out in the underbelly of Kolkata and is a battle of wits. Just under two hours, it makes for an interesting, albeit not a nail biting watch. As the motive unfolds, you know who the murderer is, and that's a little underwhelming, as the director Birsa Dasgupta could have easily held the suspense until the very end. As such, the thrill element in Mukhosh is somewhat mellow, but that is compensated by the acting of the principal characters. Anirban Bhattacharya is spot on as a criminologist, and Anirban Chakraborty is good too. But it is Tota Roy Chowdhury who stands out in a special appearance as a steely, determined and agile individual with an objective.

It's really good psychological thriller with awesome performances by all the actors. If u really want to go to theatre then it's worth it. Please go & watch this movie. Myself went to theatre after Avengers Endgame which is more than 2 years and really worth it. Birsa Dasgupta's best work as I didn't expect much from him but hats off to the director. Stand out performance by both Anirban Bhattacharya & Anirban Chakraborty and were very good too.
Being the official retelling of Anjaam Pathiraa; the possibilities were enormous. Even though I haven't seen the original by myself; I only heard good things about it. So finally when the announcement of this Bengali remake came into the open; I was thrilled. Little did I know, I was to regret my over-excitement.
Inefficient; yes, that's the most accurate term I can use to recapitulate my exact feelings. From the Screenplay to its character set-ups; everything felt unskillful and somewhat rudimentary in a sense. Thus making it a highly disappointing session from a viewer's standpoint.
Talking of setbacks, why stick to the same PG-13 stuff? It's high time the creators embrace the full-blown glory of Blood and Gore. And looking at this story, in particular; it demanded those anyways. That being said, the technical sides aren't half bad. In contrast, I completely admire the Cinematography and the scalability of the Score.
Speaking of Performances; it's decent. No means exceptional, but collectively they do a pretty good job. It's again the Writing that makes the situation much more difficult. A script that needed nothing but competent characterization, was deprived of the same. Therefore, not producing the much-desired output!
