I like the show, however, I truly wish she would return to "Paternity Court". Especially with YouTube now showing so many men doing the home DNA testing. We need that to help men and children of all races know who is their father. It would also force these women to accept responsibility for their actions. Regardless of their lies the DNA test provides everyone in the courtroom with the truth. She dished out the results regardless of what either party thought. On top of that she cared for both parties after providing them. If he was or wasn't the father her goal was to protect the children first.
Why use actors in reenactments? Would it be too difficult to preside over real cases? Is Lauren Lake a real judge? I would like it if it showcased real people and used actors. Many of the actors aren't only used over and over but they often "over act" by rolling the eyes, that's the comedic part...lol. I enjoy Judge Judy and The People's Court with Marilyn Milan, they're the only two worth watching right now. I appreciate that both keep participants in line instead of a free for all. This is my problem with this show as well, the litigants constantly argue without any correction from the "judge". I can't imagine any real judge allowing this kind of decorum in their presence.
I watched one-half of one episode. Judge Lauren Lake made a decision that was totally, completely, and as she admitted, contrary to the law. She made the decision out of "fairness". This is absurd. If I had been the defendant ordered to pay in this case, I'd be suing the judge, and the production company and I'm pretty, I'd win. These judges are "arbitrators" and as arbitrators are required to follow the law. She admitted that she wasn't following the law. She would be liable for damages for her bad decision. The law doesn't take into account "fairness" the way she did - the law is often not "fair". It was a simple contracts case. The party performed under the contract. She proved that she performed under the contract. And she should have won. Instead, she was ordered to pay. Ridiculous!! I'll never watch this show again!

Congrats on so many shows that I've even known of that you've been a part of including the latest one "We the People"!
Solving disputes in a civilized court of law, no matter the severity of the case.
One case that was particularly interesting involved the customer demanding the tattoo eyebrows then regretting her choice upon seeing herself.
When I tell people that I was in a band with the "One and only Lauren Lake", it's good to be able to say I've worked with the best!
Artie Garland - gone but not forgotten Lauren Lake and whole crew were something to Celebrate!
Best Wishes!

I love court shows, but to me the times I have tuned in to Lauren Lake, it appears racist to me. I had to stop watching. So glad there's many selections of Judge shows to watch nowadays. Last episode I watched, the plaintiff sure seemed so nit picky and by golly, I thought she'd give defendant the positive verdict. Nope..... and hoping it wasn't yet another episode that appeared racist. By contributing, it only separates Gods people. Kindness and fairness has gone to the wayside, then tilted waaaay the other way as if to punish whites. It's a sad world and hoping all can go forward with no division by going back centuries to something ancestors did. We all bleed red. God wants us all to get along and show fairness/kindness. Off to watch court shows now.

- TriviaThe disclaimer at the end states, "... may be re-enactments..." With the poor acting one would safely say almost every one is acting.
