Father Demetrious is walking alone in the woods. He is compelled to follow the voices to see where they lead him. He brings with him a shovel, and a pick, because he knows from experience, he may need them. Much to his chagrin, he finds what he's looking for.

Father Demetrius is in a cabin in the woods. The room is lit by fire and candle light. He is confronting Albert, who is struggling with a past vicissitude. At the church, the bishop tells Father Demetrius the difference between good and evil. Father Demetrius is in a cabin with Lisa. He is trying to figure out why she hasn't been released. Back at the church, Father Demetrius pays Father Greg and accidentally disrupts mass. Father Greg agrees to talk to the diocese. Father Demetrius finally finds out the name of a road from Lisa. Father Demetrius heads out to go find that road.

Father Demetrius follows Lisa into the woods. She leads him to a dilapidated house when Sarah arrives unexpectedly. Father Demetrius and Sarah talk about Lisa's disappearance. Father Demetrius helps Sarah. Lisa shows Father Demetrius Ayana's grave. Ayana and Lisa become absolved.

Father Demetrius is in a state of confusion at a diner. The server offers his assistance. Father Demetrius hears the voices. Father Demetrius walks out of the diner and walks into the woods. Father Demetrius encounters Will Johnson at a graveyard. Will Johnson tells Father Demetrius his story. Father Demetrius releases Will Johnson.

Father Demetrius goes to Marilyn's house. He finds Marilyn dead in her bed. He sees that she was reading a book when she died. He takes the book. Marilyn visits Father Demetrius at his house. Father Demetrius reads the poem that Marilyn was reading when she died. Marilyn becomes absolved. Father Demetrius talks to Father Greg about his new abilities. Father Demetrius has a nightmare about Tyler.

The bishop tells Father Demetrius he knows why he is dropping out of the priesthood. Father Demetrius talks with Denzel about Denzel's problem. Denzel finally reveals his truth. Father Demetrius finally releases Denzel. Eric has a meeting with Figaro. Eric visits Father Demetrius. Eric gives Father Demetrius something to think about.
