The Wedding of the Century

A documentary of pure delight and enjoyment for the British Royal Family fans or nostalgic viewers who love the period cover, or the event in question which was the marriage of Prince Charles and Lady Di. The title says it all, as it was in fact the wedding of the century covered in great detail by the media with countless photographs and images, including a live TV broadcast. It enchanted millions of people around the world as it was sold as the perfect fairytale like never seen before. It felt like a dream...

The film is divided in two parts with the first being the interviews with people who covered the event, from newscasters to the people behind the scenes preparing flowers arrangements, the challenging cake and etc (lots of good behind the scenes stories); and the second showing the event was it shown back in 1981 but with restaured 4k quality which makes the whole event a glorious presentation to be seen. The curious factor spoke higher to me since I wasn't alive when it happened but I kept hearing so many things over the years that I had to check it out. It was pretty good, and a lot more memorable than the weddings of William and Harry.

Anyway, it was a good time travel back to 1981, the epic royal wedding and the whole enthusiasm felt by everybody. 6/10.
