I saw this by accident on an independent shorts site. I can't say the photography is amazing, but I can say the acting, the writing and the vibe is really good. No spoiler here - check it out - worth the few minutes.

Conrad Turner has a look and a talent and have no idea why he never got a shot. Martin Hobbs as the Barman is a little wooden, but it kind of works. The director/writer has a way and it would be interesting to see what he would do with a bigger budget. I have seen the Call of the Hunter trailer and am going to risk buying a copy of the DVD - because - I fancy a look.

Trivia
Shot in August 2002 over a two day period. The first edit was commenced shortly after, but the edit was lost when the hard-drive on the computer developed a virus. This happened again to the second re-edit on a new computer in 2003. The third attempt on editing the film took place in 2004 and once again the system hard-drive crashed loosing once again the final edit. This was taken as a sign and the original tapes were confined to a box in definitely. In 2008 another attempt was made and this time the edit was a success.
