When an illustrious New York ad-man pitches to a difficult client, he reaches deep into his roots to sell Ginger Ale as the drink of the Jewish People. "Mad Mensch" occurs in a contemporary alternative universe in which the show Mad Men is entirely Jewish. Co-written by Michael Strauss and Jake Reiner. Reiner stars as famous ashkenazi ad-man, Don Drapeberg. Don uses his Jewish roots to sell the idea that ginger ale is the drink of the Jewish people to the Schweppes beverage company. Don even ropes his father, played by legendary director and actor Rob Reiner, into his pitch to seal the deal. The question remains: will Schweppes buy what Don is selling?
