I saw this film in the Global Cinema in India.
One good things about this film was all the actors were very good.
After seeing this film i remember the old days film when we were able to get good family drama and good actors.
At one point tears came out because of the emotional scene when Raj does big sacrifice.
The post production work looks like very well done as well. I like few shots very much specially ones which are at night.
All the snow scenes were amazing as well.
The only thing missing was fight scenes in this film but it looks obvious as it was no where in the story and it is a very good family drama.
I will give a rating of 10 to this film.

Yes the film was an aesthetic success in USA. I just loved the wonderful chemistry between Ram and Raj. Mukesh looked better than any of her previous films I have seen. If everything is the same but without Mukesh in the film, I'm not sure of the product.
Kamal Nandi as Ram excels like always, he has played an elder stern father earlier but here he plays a victim and portrays it well.My succinct comment of review and overall impression would recognize that the movie was delightful, refreshing, magnificent and charming. Delightful, refreshing, magnificent and charming cover a great deal of territory. A momentary lack of continuity, inequality in the depth of characters and the lack of plausible reality within circumstance matters very little if such perceived weakness is embellished creatively.DVD quality and its authoring is very well done and its worth spending money on this film.

This is the only feature film from Canada which got award at California and was among best feature films as one of the filmmakers i was there in the award ceremony. When it came to watch the whole film all i can say is a must watch film. Its a pure family drama very well shown on the big screen with characters from two cultural background. It is a tribute to elderly parents and answer to youth growing in western culture. The plot is inspiring with good storyline, direction, cinematography, editing and acting.DVD authored is very high quality as it played well on the big screen at home theatre and sound effect was Dolby which portrayed better quality of film available on DVD.
I am not a big time fan of watching movies of unknown faces, but this was by chance.I went to watch Aguntak by Satyajit Ray and stayed back to see the taste of relation. The name sounds like a romantic film but was a family drama and a mix a romance but, good part is it hold interest till the end.
Acting of all unknown faces were even better than well known faces from Bollywood now a days.More interesting was western songs with eastern performance. It clearly shows the vision of Director was very clear in making this film.
Technically the quality of film on screen looks very good and it was a good experience for me to try watching something different with more talents into it.
It was worth of watching this film. I will give a rating of 10 to this film.

Very nice family drama, entertaining and inspiring towards family. The film portrays a big sacrifice but at the same time it conveys a lesson to young generation. All the actors were good and the sound tracks were unique and different. As an actor i liked the performance of Mukesh,Kamal,Aruna and Roya. The cinematography and editing looks very good. At some point the emotions are too loud but it maybe the requirement of the story. The young kids were very good as well. This film should get recognized in more festivals because of its rich quality. Goodluck to Mukesh and Team. I will give a rating of 9 to this film.
