Green and Gold

This was an incredible movie from start to finish. It was obvious that the filmmakers and actors were on the same page about making it a touching, home grown, funny, and moving film. The themes throughout the film were what we all need right now, reminding us where we came from and informs where we are going. It felt like an instant classic and shines a light on a part of this country that is easy to gloss over. The movie ties faith, football, and farming all into one beautiful story. The acting was also incredible, from the big names of Craig T Nelson, to new up and coming actors like Madison Lawlor, each scene was shot and acted really well. One of the best movies I've ever seen!

What a refreshing film for 2025! As a proud Wisconsinite it was great to see so many filming locations used that I've visited. Adding the Christian messaging was great and seeing all of the daily ups and downs of working on a farm was eye opening. Really enjoyed all of the acting especially Craig T Nelson. My father passed away 2 years ago and I know he would've loved seeing this as a teenager who worked on his family farm and a die hard Packer fan. If you enjoy movies with a great message then I hope you'll see it in the theaters. All the best towards making this a success. Thanks to the entire production in making this film.

With shades of Field of Dreams and It's a Wonderful Life, Green and Gold is a touching and inspiring film that celebrates hope and perseverance.

If you go in with the right mindset I think you would really enjoy it.

Really good human story, no agenda, no CGI or car crashes, just a story about an old school farmer who is threatened with foreclosure.

They weave a little mid-90's Packers in there (Favre, Sterling Sharpe, Reggie White, etc) but it's far from a Packers movie.

All filmed in Door County, Wisconsin, it's a beautiful depiction of life in a family farm.

I'm sure some will see it as hokey, but I really liked the human aspect of it.

Craig T Nelson does a nice job, the scenery and setting is classic rural Wisconsin. Great visuals, and the ending is heart warming!

This movie is so special. I saw it today for the third time in a packed theater in Wisconsin. It warmed my heart to watch it again not only with my family, but also alongside strangers who were experiencing it for the first time. There was a well-deserved round of applause in the theater at the end. The Packers storyline is just one enjoyable part of an overall heartwarming, hopeful, and incredible film. The acting, the music, and the cinematography pull together beautifully. Every time I've seen it, I've laughed and cried and left wanting to tell more people to see it before it leaves theaters. Best movie I have seen in a very long time.
