What a twisted funny movie. Great story about Satan scamming to get back into Heaven. Satan is the perfect guest at God's party, until . . . The cast is made up of names you've probably never heard of, but their acting is on-target. If you're looking for a laugh this is the pick. Got it on the zon, free with the membership, but it can be rented as well.

Okay, so this movie is not for the rails offended or the faint of heart. If you are easily offended, skip right on by... but it IS called "Good Satan", so that should've been your first clue. But for those who enjoy a truly imaginative and utterly hilarious twist on religious tropes, this one is for you. The actors are great (especially the two leads odd Lou and Frank), the plot is a total crack up and even the cinematography is nicely done. I honestly don't know how this one doesn't have more reviews, but here we are. Again - it does have some pretty rank language and some of the themes are not for everyone, but those who appreciate it will get a lot of laughs out of this one. Stay for the ending credits because those are worth a watch if you enjoyed the movie. All in all, wonderfully done and we laughed through the entire thing. Hope you do too!

The production value is very low. But the content is great! The elevator pitch might be The Office In Hell.
I found this buried in the Amazon Prime catalog on a late and unsober evening and I've been telling everyone about it when the subject of small movies comes up. Definitely worth the time investment.
It has strong elements of sarcasm and cynical humor. The movie feels like it has a unique voice even though it includes elements we've seen before in other material. I think the low budget production may actually help because it sets low expectations and then vaults over them easily.
I will be searching out work from. Scott Rutherford to see if the quality remains consistent.
