    Read John Chapter 16

I enjoyed the movie at first, until Holy Spirit helped me realized the main problem is that God Himself was missing throughout the movie. Eternal life and the need for God is not based on being a good or bad person. It's about needing Him to deliver you from the evil. You can introduce people to God and show them His ways or imitate Him, but if they're not adopted by Him then what's the point. I believe the movie actually compromised. It worshipped deeds over God Himself, and at points worshipped and praised Rachel over God. Its 2 areas specifically towards the end where Emma told Rachel "I see you" and "I don't have it in me". Rachel should have pointed Emma to Jesus and also shown in the bible where Jesus said "when you see me you've seen My Father". And she could have said Holy Spirit is not in you, you need Him! There was no reference to Father God, Jesus, or Holy Spirit at all.

Captures the heart and soul of selfless love

A film that shows what compassion & friendship can do to help someone in need. Beautifully shot around Sydney with some wonderful actors! You will come away with hope for humanity and be challenged to pay good fortune forward.

A feel good slice of life film that proposes charity as a means for gaining self-fulfillment without shoving ethics and piety down viewers' throats

While browsing flicks in a low mood, I came across the preview which was a scene of a dialogue between the main character Nathaniel and the supporting character Mark. They discussed each other's beliefs in God and life in way that touched on each other's varying perspectives without judgement very thoughtfully.

I would say that scene sums up what this film does through its array of characters who intersect and develop throughout. More than just about God, the film explores ethics and values and how their scale measure up against one another for the purpose of achieving self-fulfillment. The characters work as representations of people in society as well as who they are on their own at face value.

The film spoke to me without guilt tripping and it resonated with the internal conflicts that I endure and I think many others do based on some of the discourse present today that the film does a good job at relating to viewers with.

It was refreshing and gave me something real to consider. Great to watch alone if feeling like it, and great to watch with someone you're able to have those conversations with.

Oh and I think the effects of the cinematography did a good job at evoking the emotions that scenes were meant to make the audience feel.

    Embellishing a terrible reality

I couldn't go further than 45 min. The female hero is way too perfect, doesn't have any flaws nor shows any limits whereas she's spending all of her time besides her studies in helping people. Never rests, never takes time for herself, and yet she's completely fine and a kind of superwoman. The homeless guy is too stereotypical, I feel like the crew of the movie never met or talk with an actuel homeless person. He suddenly goes from the unhappiest man in the world to the most devoted person, again without any flaws. All this, plus the way too religious atmosphere for me, had me there. But if all of this don't disturb you, I'm sure you'll appreciate the movie.

A great movie that makes you think about your actions as a Christian, but also just as a human. I loved how relatable a lot of the themes were for young people.

The actors were great and though Christian movies tend to be a bit cringe, the actors in this made it feel like something I could relate to.

Good movie to watch if you need motivating to do something to better the world and those around you. Good choice for a youth movie night, family movie night, or to watch with a few close friends. It was inspiring and motivating to see Christianity in action and someone living out their faith unashamedly!
