    Not at all about cooking

    Just like her other show, Top Chef which was not about cooking, but about product placement, this follows the same formula. It is not about cooking. It is about her politics.

    Unless you can tolerate this, it is otherwise unwatchable.

    What a joke!

    This series requires you to completely suspend disbelief of reality to enjoy the victimization of people who victimized others. It's so disconnected from reality.

    Beautiful and touching.

    Padma has a unique way to be respectful, educative and make me fall in love with all the little parts of our ancestors.

    Food is the center of culture throughout history and this is exactly what Padma and her team does un such a beautiful way, you feel like you're talking with your own family and getting in their intimacy, and this is just BEAUTIFUL.
