Just Like Water

A simple story beautifully told through spectacular cinematography and fluid narration. Like water our lives flow, everything passes. I loved the way past and future meets. The details here and there captured through close ups of trivial and yet so important pieces, like the first time the main character wears shoes.

This story telling is in my opinion so poetic one can be lost in thought. A truly beautiful piece!

It is a wonderful film, it is very aesthetic and touching, great cinematography, this is a poetic film, I watched it with my children, Film director deserve every award hi get.the small details in the film seem to make up for what the voice-over doesn't say, this film transports us in a wonderfully poetic way through the years of human life, which is presented as real art, the directing decisions are amazing, the film is short, but we manage to get close to the characters, which very important to the film.those people who find a resemblance to the hero of the film will definitely be touched, the cinematography also perfectly complements the text, the selected shots and angles are wonderful and not tiresome, the first frame of the film evokes mystery from above.

We had the honor to screen, or rather stream, this short in our final Oregon State International Film Fest during the Covid-19 pandemic.

It is an homage, a visual poem, a beautiful narrative in wonderful colors. The images take you to a Crete of the past and connect memories of the past with the present.

The film's central question--what is time--evolves slowly; a life told in 13 minutes, without rush or any other urge.

A beautiful film that came at the right time.

"just like water" is pure poetry. As water from the rivers, time never stop its path. But in our human lives, there's a begin, a middle and an end.

Maybe the places where we live also make a difference in our perception of time.

Beautiful short film. For people who don't look at their watch.
