If you like a bit of action, mixed with a lot of confusion and a tight little twist tied in a little bow this movie is for you. I don't like generic action movies. I felt like this would be something made for TV or made for VHS rental before I saw it. I was dead wrong. I couldn't sleep and wanted to watch something different. This was scratching an itch I didn't know I had. I was not expecting it to flow as well as it did. I don't know any of these actors and I don't care. They played their roles well and they delivered on an excellent written movie. The twist in this, which I was not expecting it to have at all, was one of the best I've seen. Never saw it coming.
Considering as one reviewer has written this was filmed on a shoe string, through public funding via Kickstarter and none of of the guys involved really had experience in writing, directing or editing (to my knowledge), it's still a great small budget movie... Jesus if you want bad acting and inaccurate details, watch Dirty Angels and that had a far, far bigger budget..!
Honestly a great film, enjoyed the story, the characters and the mental health and PTSD sub-story which tied up the Fallen Soldier angle so well.
Considering these lads are Bootnecks and not Hollywood A listers with million $ budgets, I think they did a bang up job with what they had, and to think this TV Series come Film nearly never happened, I believe this is a true grit and adversity film on all fronts.
Showed British Soldiering well and told a story which is undoubtedly spoken, or should be spoken, by soldiers from all walks of life who have been through battle and come home lost...
Hoofin' geezers, well done.!

I really pushed myself to finish this film as I am a huge supporter of indie film productions. The entirety of the film was dragging and the acting/casting was decent enough. Costume design was kind of off but I didn't really expect much from that department. Story was okay, not stellar but not bad at all. From a cinematography standpoint: the lighting was not impressive (I understand; indie studios are on a budget as always) but that's to be expected. Furthermore, The girl's boyfriend's story somehow lacked in depth though. I wish that there was something more to what he was portraying. Overall, great job and well done with this work. I'd like to see more from this studio.
A great first film. Great innovating - great story - loved the weapons drills and fight scenes and bootneck slang.
Well done lads - you got in there and did the work and you should be proud of it!
Loved the stunts and interesting twist at the end!
Huge respect and shout out to our forces - thanks for everything you do!
Watch and support this film and offer constructive feedback or just don't comment - it's pretty epic to see it get made and with limited budget to getting picked up and released by apple tv!
An entertaining watch and a phenomenal first effort!
Go check it out for yourselves!

A tough violent movie that is hard to watch at times. It certainly does not glamorise military life, but shows the after effects of deployment in conflict zones, that lives on in their lives on discharge. The comradery no longer there, and as a result the fall into a life of loneliness, anger with their thoughts playing on their minds and no outlet except in many cases drifting into crime. However, when the comradery returns and an outlet and counselling is there, well it just might help. But the built up anger over years of combat in theatres of conflict can have devastating consequences for veterans as displayed in this film.
