This show marked a rehabilitation of Harald Bergstedt who had been entirely banned from Danmarks Radio ever since the ending of the German occupation of WWII. Bergstedt was sentenced to serve a prison sentence after working for a Nazi newspaper during the war, throwing a dark shadow over his popular poetry written in the decades before the war. Bergtedt died only two years after the show had aired.
