Life in a Medieval Town

Otto the serf is sent to the town to bring a cow to the butcher and collect the money for the seneschal. The seneschal will use the money to pay for shoes crafted by the master shoemaker and his apprentice. Along the way, Otto sees several facets of the medieval way of life giving way to the mercantile system that replaced it.

Of course no ten minute movie from Coronet Films cn cover all the aspects of this different way of life, and indeed, this offers a far more colorful view of how people lived. It this does make a good precis of how the system worked back then, in an idealized fashion. It's told stuffily, in the Coronet Films manner.
