Matthew Catania's dad, also named Matthew Catania, created the "Fifi and John" painting that hangs in Interpol Headquarters several years prior to production.
Production was delayed after the people who originally agreed to play the department heads and the housewives backed out. The delay turned out to be a boon since those parts were recast with thespians of a higher caliber who were unavailable at the start of production.
Partially filmed on a DVX-100 camera provided by Jack Gattanella. He also provided the two mini-DV cassettes it was filmed on.
When given the two mini-DVs cassettes to edit, Fred Henry III remarked "You guys are either very efficient or you don't have enough coverage." Matthew Catania enthusiastically replied "Both!"
