Released on July 31st 2009 in movie theaters nationwide, completing nine consecutive weeks of run in over 52 venues from the two main Venezuelan commercial movie-theater networks Cines Unidos and Cinex, independent movie theaters and public movie-theater networks in Caracas, Valencia, Maracay, Maracaibo, Barquisimeto and a handful of other cities in the country.

The film received a grant from the National Film Board of Venezuela for script development in 2004. The first draft was written by the writer-director Efterpi Charalambidis while being in New York.
