Nervous on his first Meet The People's Session (MPS), newly-elected MP for Tanjong Bukit Manis SMC, Danial Razali, gets thrown into the deep end when he has to solve a long-standing feud between two rival neighbours that have been fighting over the usage of the common corridor. With the cryptic advise from the Residents Committee Chairman Lao, Danial must employ some lateral thinking to undo the stalemate that even his predecessor was unable to resolve, earning the trust of his aides and proving himself the worthy leader.

A manhunt ensues after Danial gets drenched and publicly humiliated by a douse of water from a unit above. Danial and team soon find themselves dealing with a resident who is stuck in the past and clings on too tightly to the kampong way of life. Meanwhile, a mysterious pot of curry appears arousing Yati's cautious suspicion. Is it a bribe? Is it a bomb? What intentions Can the kampong spirit of community living still survive in our modern concrete jungle?

There is a degrading meme of Danial going around social media, creating a public image nightmare for Melissa. One after another, these Internet memes start to multiply and the team has to put an end to this. While Siva tries to hunt down the troll, Melissa decides to fight back with positive marketing to counter the bad publicity. She employs the help of celebrity rapper Gosh Rock to help their videos go viral.

There's a cat-napper on the loose. The resident cat lady who feeds the strays around the block suddenly finds her beloved cats missing. Danial soon finds out that the problem is not just a personal lost but that of the community as rats are no longer kept in check and the bored elderly residents around void decks have nothing to look forward to. Against personal prejudices, Danial and his team must set out to save their furry friends.

An online article shaming Tanjong Bukit Manis as being unhealthy and obese triggers Melissa's competitive nature and gets her into overdrive. Meanwhile, Danial and Siva tries to recruit new volunteers to expand their manpower. Melissa's obsession to outdo a neighbouring constituency turns her attempts to promote healthy living to the residents into a disaster, leaving Danial and Siva to select the cream of the crop - from the bottom of the heap.

Danial learns that appeals to waive parking fines take up most of an MP's job and is advised by Siva's prudent council to deal with them using template protocol. Danial is resolute in his principles of dealing with every case personally and tries to investigate the offences only to realize they follow a pattern.

Something strange in the neighbourhood - who you gonna' call? The MP? That is just what the residents of Tanjong Bukit Manis did and now it is up to Danial and team to do some ghost busting before the ghost does some serious busting to the estate prices.

There is a loan shark situation plaguing the constituency as walls are being painted with cryptic messages and the community is starting to panic. Danial meets Max and his sister through Ashraf who are the poor victims of the loan shark situation. They got left behind by their parents who are running away from the debtors. Filled with sympathy for them, Yati puts them up in her home while Danial and Siva continue to hunt down the loan sharks.

Melissa finds herself increasingly distracted from her work with Danial and dreaming of bigger things. While being harassed by a resident looking for a wife, she is reminded of her childhood aspirations and wonders if her current state working as an assistant for Danial will really help her achieve them. Meanwhile, greater ambitions and a swanky coffee machine call out to her.

It's nearing National Day and the MP of each constituency needs to nominate the most deserving grassroots leader for the prestigious Grassroots Achievement Award on the basis of contributions to the community. It seems everyone is lobbying for the Residents Committee Chairman Lao. Except for Siva, who has been waiting for this award for a long time. He goes on a campaign to increase his popularity.

Danial has been caught in the act by the paparazzi in the arms of a woman, who is not his wife - except it is not Danial. If what Danial claims is true, then there is an imposter on the loose. Unable to prove his own innocence, Danial and team must track down this lookalike in time before he causes more PR damage. But for Danial this is more than just a public relations problem, it is also a personal relations problem.

As part of his promise to the community, Danial lays foundations to a chosen site to build a sports hub and a tree was uprooted in the process. This tree happens to be the Manis Tree where the neighbourhood got its name Tanjong Bukit Manis. When the community finds out about this, a sudden outpour of unhappiness springs up and the constituents are up in arms. Danial realizes that his grave oversight has made a mess of the situation.

Continuing from the catastrophic event of uprooting the mythic Manis Tree, this is the season finale to the series. Just when things cannot go anymore wrong, Danial goes missing. Siva and Mel begin a manhunt that leads them to the hospital where Danial is found lying in a morgue. Can they revive the MP and restore him to his former self to lead the team once again?
