A properganda filled, historically incorrect misfire of a film

After seeing the glowing reviews online, I wanted to give this movie a chance. I really thought that this would address both perspectives of the war but to my utter disappointment, it didn't do that. It tried to paint Pakistan as the victim and hero who didn't do anything wrong and India as the villain. It implied that Bangladesh was seperated solely by India. I am not saying that India didn't have a role in the seperation, but to blame India completely is ignorant. We are to be blamed as well (Pakistani). Also I found the joke about the Hindu not being able to eat cow meat distasteful and the tea jokes were overused and unfunny after a while. This movie should have been a wake up call for our wrongdoings but it failed to do that. I gave it a 2 star because there were a few flashbacks which I really enjoyed.

    WORST MOVIE EVER? HISTORICALLY INCORRECT!

I wish I could put a 0/10 review. Seems like the makers of the movie wanted to purify the genocide Pakistan did since 1947-1971. LAME!! Making it look like it was India responsible for the war and Pakistan and Bangladesh BOTH had shared faults??? "galti hui kisise bhi. Maafi maang lete hain dono"???? SAY WHAT?? Has any of you ever read an actual history book based on 1971 war? Why should Bangladesh ask for forgiveness? Because we didnt let your army rape and kill more Bangladeshi people? And stop blaming India for everything. The only good thing about this movie I can say is that the new generation of Pakistan wanting to learn about the history of their country. NOTHING ELSE! And by the way, why did Pakistan never ask for forgiveness even after 50 years of our independence? Even the British asked so. It's the least expected from a country after genocide. This movie makes the sacrifices of our freedom fighters look like a joke. I hope our govt. Bans this movie. This movie is antagonistic to the independence of Bangladesh. As Bangladeshi, we are happy to be separated from Pakistan. And we have NOTHING to apologise for. It's Pakistan who should apologise. NOT US! PERIODT!

Not worth to watch in theatre by spending money

The Topic is damn good... But picturisation, plot, acting of Hero is weak...Sajal is good in terms of acting.. Unnecessary songs at start.

Bad screenplay, Not accurate as per history,It is a more perspective base movie, Cinematography is completely missing, You can tell the topic in more convenient way..... End of movie is Bad.

1st hour is complete time wasting.

    2nd half is good.

The supporting actors of Bengali decent is bad.

Thought there were fake accent by them.

    Propaganda

This movie shows exactly opposite of what actually happened in 1971.

Quality of the movie is not so high. Understandable, as the industry is new. But, tampering the history and stating wrong facts are never acceptable.

    Amazing Movie

It was one of the best movies I have ever watched. Yes sure for Indian people it wasn't so fun because main villains were Indians and some raged wrote all of these bad reviews. Even if this movie is historically incorrect, please just enjoy it instead of dragging yourself all the way up to this place and rating it 1 star. Acting was good, it was funny etc. It had it's own share of bad scenes, good scenes but I have personally enjoyed it. I first watched it with friends, then at home, then again and now I am gonna watch it again. I have never watched a movie this much again. Its not worth it to watch it in theatre's again and again but I think you should at least once go and watch it in theatres. I had to cut 3 stars because of historically incorrect views. Overall, I think its a good one.
