    Great adaptation!

Set at a coffee stall, the attendant and an old newspaper seller chat idly about a variety of pointless topics which probably mean little to either of them. Performed on stage in 1959 as part of the 'Pieces of Eight' revue at the Apollo Theatre (London); performed on BBC Radio in 19601 of those awkward, mundane conversations between everyday people that Pinter specializes in. A nice adaptation overall with decent acting. The two guys have a nice chemistry and the setup is great. Simple and effective. I wish they could do more of Pinter's works. They are very cool as a duo and a great performance was delivered here.

    Great adaptation.

"The Last to Go" by Harold Pinter is a poignant exploration of human relationships, skillfully delving into the complexities of love, loss, and the passage of time. Pinter's distinctive use of language and subtle nuances create an atmosphere of emotional tension that resonates long after the final page. The characters' internal struggles and the intricate interplay of their conversations offer a thought-provoking glimpse into the intricacies of human connection. Pinter's masterful storytelling unfolds with a sense of inevitability, leaving a lingering impact that prompts reflection on the fragility of life and the enduring power of memory. Great piece altogether.
