The role of Detective Highgate was named after actor, Richard Lyntton's birthplace of Highgate, England.
The rune symbol that appears in the opening scenes can been scene twice during the opening credits.
The role of Doctor Whittingham was named after Whittingham Hospital. It was a psychiatric hospital located in England. Director, Anthony Calvitti saw a picture of the hospital on a cover of the Swiss band, Shrooms Circle album entitled, Asylum.
The devil face that hangs from the Camaro rear view mirror was created by Christian Stavrakis. Christian also sculpted the bronze bust of director, George A. Romero which is installed at Monroeville Mall, near Pittsburgh, Pa where Dawnn of the Dead (1978) was filmed.
