    Stupid and poorly written

Most likely I will get a lot of bashing for this, but I don't care. I had to spoke my mind. Whole season 4, but mostly last two episodes seemed to be written by a 5-year-old kid. Cheesy line after cheesy line, hugs and kisses, smiles and.lame jokes, one after another in a never ending series. The "good" guys got everything they wanted, the bad guys were erased, common... Ben Stone yelling an all-powerful ghost or whatever spirit and made him go away? All the puzzles and clues solved by a bunch of random people, future after landing meant to happen exactly like in their 5 and a half period they experienced? Everyone hooked like in their dream? I've seen kids fairy-tales with less happy endings like that. And who orchestrated this whole charade (presumably God) got fooled (or pleased) by that charade played by the random guys in Flight 828? Was that enough to save the world? That's it? Really, guys? It was a pain to watch and looked at the time each ten seconds to see how long I had to endure.

    Inspiring, nostalgic, and beautiful ending.

Despite many questions left unresolved, the series manages to produce a satisfactory and inspiring ending that beautifully wraps up the series, bringing us great nostalgia from when the series just started.

As always, the acting within this show is absolutely phenomenal.

I do wish there was more clarification and questions answered, and I do think that there is room for a sequel - which I hope will happen.

Nevertheless, this TV series is one of the best shows I have ever watched, and I am very happy to have found this show over a year ago while randomly scrolling through Netflix. I highly recommend watching this inspiring series.

    Hugs...

    I'm throwing down the gauntlet.

    Pick your favourite alcoholic tipple.

Every time there is a screen 'hug' between two or more characters, take a full swig. When a male character places his hand on the shoulder of another male character, as a sign of camaraderie, have half a slug.

You will not make it to the closing credits.

I counted over well over 100 hugs in this final episode.

If you're teetotal, just scream "HUG !" when you see one. That will annoy the neighbours - all that bloody hugging annoyed me terribly.

Also, there are far too many continuity mistakes for it to be taken seriously.

    A turbulant journey's neat landing.

Firstly, it is a tidy CLOSURE. It could have been better, but we were lucky to have something so NEAT, given how this show has gone.

It was one of those shows that made NO SENSE at all. However, the show garnered a cult following due to its CAPTIVATING central mystery. CURIOSITY sustained the show for four long seasons.

Back to the finale: It nicely wraps up (and sets up) the Mick-Zeke and Ramirez-Tamaki couples. Ben Stone gets back his family. Eagen turns a corner. Cal-man was a waste. The writers could have handled Angelina's story better. What was the point of her being punished by "God" if nothing happened?

Perhaps the showrunners chickened out and avoided a DARK ending. They set it up as an "end of the world story". The plane was supposed to be a modern-day Noah's ark with only the deserving passengers (and maybe a few other humans) destined to survive. However, there was no "end of the world". Instead, the passengers exit the terminal. But, then, that begs the question what was the purpose of Flight-828's disappearance in the first place? Also, no Captain Daly?

Anyways, enjoyable show. Wonderful characters. Hope to see Zeke, Mick, Ben, Olive, Sanvi, Ramirez, Drea, Eagen, etc, in more shows.

More shows should be made in this genre. However, one recurring problem with such shows is the inconsistent mythology. The writers often weave too many arcs around the central mystery. Many of which don't even make sense. But worse is the shabby unweaving. That disappoints the most. Hopefully, networks will take notice and fix this problem.

The best episode of the entire show

To be honest, I wasn't expecting much of the ending, thought it would be a huge disappointment, given the complexity to explain every sobrenatural things that happened during the course of the show. But what a pleasant surprise! It could wrap everything, and gave the audience many emotions. Really worth watching!

This is for sure the best episode of the show, and when the ending is so satisfying, it lifts the ranking of the rest of it, in my opinion. So what would be only a captivating tv show, ranked 6/10, turned out to be a 8/10 show for me.

Me and my gf enjoyed a lot watching this, and sure will recommend to our friends!

During the pilot, when the flight 828 landed, many children are seen in the field meaning that they were aboard. Here no child (or teen since 5 and a half years have passed) is seen on the flight. The youngest person aboard of the new 828 seems to be TJ that was already a universitary student during the time of the original flight.
