    Terrible and regressive!!

This is a very regressive movie that would have failed even in the 80s. The characters are one dimensional and you can predict the next scene every 5th minute. The screenplay is not coherent and looks like track love scenes and forced comedy sequences. If you remember the order fight - love - song - comedy - fight, then bingo you are the Director of this movie.

The biggest drawback you cannot connect with the characters or the environment on the screen. The Dad is too bad and the hero is all good, no evil... If there had been a story why Prakash Raj character became like that, it would have atleast engaging.

    Do not watch!!

    Sadly disappointing

πŸ˜”πŸ˜”πŸ˜” We love Karthi more than he loves us...Somehow, we hoped that maybe this time, this one time, this unique time he'll come up with a different movie. Even though the trailer already signaled otherwise, still, we had faith that Karthi would not let us down...but, he did...

    DELICIOUS

---We're clapping for the cinematography that was so sizzling :D Selvakumar S. K. gave us vibrant moments. The film also had a great yellow color palette that emphasized the heat of the village setting and the 'heat' of the disputes

-Our favorite guy was Thalaiyaar (Viruman's father's assistant), he was so hilarious and sustained the comedy even when the camera wasn't focusing on him. Very nice!

-Fighting sequences, as expected, were well choreographed and kept the excitement going

    BLAND

---The saddest part about movies like Viruman is the redundancy in the character design (especially the lead actor and heroine), plot, dialogues, dance segments, score, climax, etc.

We've seen way too many of this kind that another one makes it overwhelming and unappealing. Just a little touch of originality could have taken Viruman to a higher level.

    Viruman is not a winner

Viruman does not fair well and seems nothing is new. Just a old fashioned storyline with estranged son saving other family members when they are in trouble. Aditi Shankar's acting is easily forgotten. Let's give more opportunities for star kids, directors kids and all other big shot celebrity kids. What is one more? Even Karthi and Surya, Vijay, Prashanth, and most of the current acting folks are all product of neoptism. Let's stop this and hire real talents outside of film industry who are struggling to get in.

Saranya Mam the exact Mom roles she has been fot years. Sorry this movie is a disappointment.

Anyway there is nothing much to say about this movie:(

    Nothing original except dialogs.

RATED 4/10 Language: Tamil Source: Amazon Prime

Formulaic village story and run of the mill presentation. Nothing original and lot of scenes test your patience. Especially the action blocks and mother flashback sentiment scenes.

Lot of nice dialogs there but that is the only appreciable thing in this movie. Everything else is scene 100 times before in Tamil cinema. And curse to the director to bring back "sivakasi" Prakash Raj with his loud shouting.

Aditi is OK but her body language is artificial. Karthik and Rajkiran did the same role before and dont know how they chose this script.

    Easily skippable one.

Boring plot, too many songs and fight scenes

The story plot takes audiences back 6 years. Not to be too harsh because Karthi has done some notable films, but this movie was nothing great. At best it was boring. If you're looking for a run of the mill family story that has way too many fight scenes and songs intertwined, then this is the film for you.

I expected much more considering that it was produced by Suriya but this film almost makes me want to stop watching Karthi and Suriya movies altogether.

Yawned most of the way through and couldn't wait for it to end.
