    Summary

Reviewers say 'Martin' faces criticism for its convoluted plot, poorly executed action sequences, and lackluster character development. The incoherent narrative, weak dialogue, and over-the-top action scenes are highlighted as major flaws. Technical aspects like CGI, sound design, and editing are frequently faulted. Pacing issues, either too slow or too rushed, further detract from the experience. Despite some praise for certain action sequences and performances, the overall consensus is that 'Martin' fails to offer a cohesive and enjoyable cinematic experience.

    worst

There not proper story line Story not explained properly. There is no point in story. The dialogue is also very poor. Actors try to give their best but dialogue don't feel like powerful impact. As dialogue not matching with background music.

The visual in this movie is quite good but still it feels there is no point to show them. I personally don't like the movie. It becomes more better if it properly present. If in this movie there is little comedy and unnecessary part is deleted and main character and villan character background show properly then it could be more better movie. If anyone likes action movie, they don't like it. Because the action sequences don't complete properly.

Total waste the worst movie of 2024 or I could even I its the worst moive I ever saw

The *2024* release of *Martin* is not a direct remake of George A. Romero's 1977 psychological horror but rather a restoration and re-release that has drawn attention in recent years. Over the decades, Romero's *Martin* has gained considerable recognition, with some critics and fans considering it a cult classic for its unconventional take on vampirism. Due to this, a 4K restoration of the original was announced to bring the film back to audiences, preserving its place in horror history.

As the 2024 version aims to preserve the essence of the original, it focuses on enhancing the quality of Romero's work, offering modern audiences a clearer and more vivid presentation of the gritty, disturbing world Martin inhabits. The restoration uses the original 16mm camera negative to bring the colors, cinematography, and atmosphere back to life while maintaining the film's raw, low-budget aesthetic, which is part of its appeal.

Romero's *Martin* stands out for its realistic and grounded approach to horror, diverging from more popular and romanticized interpretations of vampires. In a horror landscape that often relies on supernatural elements, Martin's story offers a psychological angle, leaving audiences to question whether he is a vampire at all or simply mentally ill. By 2024, this concept resonates even more with contemporary viewers, given the increased focus on mental health and its intersection with horror.

The story remains the same: Martin, a young man who believes he is an 84-year-old vampire, moves to Pittsburgh to live with his superstitious cousin Cuda, who sees him as a Nosferatu-like monster. The tension between Martin's modern skepticism and Cuda's old-world belief system is central to the film's drama. The visual restoration enhances this dynamic, sharpening the contrasts between Martin's bleak urban surroundings and the dreamlike black-and-white flashbacks that allude to his delusions of vampirism.

In the 2024 version, this restoration effort is paired with bonus content that delves deeper into Romero's creative process and the film's enduring legacy. Many fans of Romero's work will appreciate the effort to bring back one of his lesser-known films, offering a new generation the chance to experience *Martin* as close to the director's original vision as possible. This re-release also serves as an exploration of how the film's themes of alienation, violence, and identity remain relevant in today's society.

The restored *Martin* brings a unique experience for viewers seeking a blend of psychological tension and horror without the typical tropes.

Already the story in the movies from india (90% of them) i can say they are so bad, look at the bollywood and the south movies are even worst i can say that RRR and Kalki is the only movie which I think has THE story and they are very great movies

I can understand there could have been quite some difficulty making of this movie, but this movie is bad

it doesnt deserve even 1 star.

A shameful movie with no fine plot. I feel embarrassed to know that this movie will be released worldwide with different language dub. This movie should be illegal to publish. The character is so unrealistic and illogical. The whole movie duration, you will be cringed to depth. I hate how it portrays everything. There is no factor about this film that is likeable. The costume design is so cheap labelled no sense at all. They may be got a huge production team, but not a single worth idea. No one deserve to watch this brainrot film, better deny it. That is why there should be a category for zero star rating for such movies.

I had clean my eyes with purified gangajal

(Everything in this review is based on personal choice it's not a representation of the pure art made by makers,ie: don't sue me) If you don't know how bad it is let me just say ( give the tickets money to charity and use those 3 hours to think about your life.if the makers are bullying the review YouTubers you should know that they don't have good content and after watching this movie I think the makers need to find a new profession like selling fruits or vegetables or even buying scraps. The CGI was worse than my nephews favourite game minecraft and most importantly why was a dog being fed with mans lips.
