Aside from the challenge, we got to know more of the queens intimately, and the runway was really good. I just hope they aren't season thirteening this cast because the queens just don't deserve it.
The challenge was over-edited, over-produced, and just pretty cringe. Such a shame because that hasn't happened with UK before and it doesn't suit the vibe at all. The low ratings have nothing to do with the queens, so I hope we can overlook it. Also there was some seriously dubious judging.
Most recent series have ended controversially, and I pray that this doesn't!

Such a shame the main challenge was do bad Because the runway and lypsync were great!
While I enjoyed this episode, the main challenge was slightly confusing. It was not a typical Rusical so I can't compare to Rats, it's more akin to the draglympics episode. Potentially the choreography was just too difficult from Otsi, or they didn't have enough time to rehearse. I don't fully buy into the rumours the season was rushed as those have been proven to be not totally accurate, but this was poorer overall as an episode which is a shame. Not sure of the winner either, think that it should have gone to another Queen.
As a viewer from a third world country, I've managed to stay away from most spoilers successfully, so I arrived here with only one spoiler that was international news that I couldn't avoid, but at least that fact means it's not gonna be so shocking and sad to see that departure.
Regarding challenges or eliminations, I'm absolutely a first time viewers of this season, so everything is new to me. That being said, this episode was disappointing, it felts like Production is trying to apply their edit manipulation and what is worst, their infamous US "Rigga Morris".
The challenge didn't felt good, perhaps a good idea on paper, but it only work out for one team. Very questionable judging and so obvious Rigga Morris, I agree that the Queen deserved a Top position, but the badge, IMHO, was clearly for the other Top Queen. All these situations we already have been through in so many US seasons that we end up forgetting some of those winners, I really hope it doesn't happen here too.

Look, I watch a lot of drag race and I know what I'm getting into, so when I say that the drama in this episode was contrived and the judging was a mix of arbitrary and transparently biased you know I mean it. It started off with the mini-challenge that went for way too long considering only one queen was actually doing anything, and that clearly only existed to stir the pot. The editing overall this episode was very tactless in its drama-creation, and none of it was fun. Then a challenge that was clearly way too hard for the queens, and the editing made the finished product an incoherent mess. Just lots of yelling. Followed by an underwhelming runway. And then of course, bizarre judging. Arbitrary focus on things like what they wore in the challenge, while ignoring when people completely missed the mark with the choreography. You could see how confused the queens were about the placements in untucked, which is not a good sign if you want your audience to actually buy it! Really disappointing overall, I hope the season improves from here, because I liked episode 1!
