Watched this movie in a bangalore international film festival just because we didn't get any other film to watch. But really it was worth to watch. I remembered my school days. And also found the importance of friendship. This movie is really great it has drama, friendship,romance,love education everything. It's so good and beautiful movie. Every one need to watch this move and also encourage this types of films and directors...... Thank you for giving kannada industry such a beautiful and thoughtful movie. All characters in the movie are so involved in there acting. Every movie watching people were really fully involved while watching the movie. Really nice movie.

A nice watch. Definitely won't regret the trip to the theatres. Everyone has done well all actors are sweet and good in their roles. They have perfectly casted Vijesh, Anjali Anish, Vijay Kiran, Mandara B, Rajneesh and Sushmitha. They really do seem like friends which I can see on screen. Anjali has done b very remarkably well did not expect that.. she is cute photogenic and a very natural actor doesn't seem like her first film. Vijesh is very funny and I see a bright future for him in comedy. Vijay Kiran is good he makes you hate him.. mandara, Sushmitha and yasha have done well all in their own way.. all are pretty and talented. Rajneesh is believable and talented. Pruthvi is good but might need to brush up a bit.. good future for him as well. Hariprasad the director seems very talented and smart wish him the best. Cinematographer is the real winner of this film he has done very well and every shot is beautiful. Music is good AJ has done well... best of luck. I highly recommend this film. Good end of the year.

As the title suggests, the film focuses on those 2 years of teenage life which is crucial enough to decide the future of the kids. What made it endearing is with all the teenage shenanigans, friendship, first love and many other firsts, the innocence of all these characters remain intact and that indeed was a nice touch. Without resorting to the slapstick humor or the template college humor, the way the director presents the story stands out.

With the perfect runtime, the screenplay is cleverly divided to portray the true meaning of friendship and take the kids through the journey of understanding life and their responsibilities better. Even the negative character is treated sensibly. The dialogues add more weightage to the narrative and if one wonders how come this particular boy is able to think this profoundly, the final act provides the answer. That ending came unexpectedly and the way that crucial scene was handled showed the ability of the writer-director.

With good performances, Padavi Poorva is a sweet little film which is a must watch.

"The most memorable moments in life is college days" and Padavi poorva is the perfect example for it.

Characters were perfectly sketched, from Peepi Naveeba to Pradeepa, and my favourite of them was Suma. She was a treat to watch and extremely relatable, caring friend, finding people like her is rare.
