Ashlynn Cox is from my hometown but hmmm...Maybe hemorrhoid commercials. I should have given this a 1 star rating but, I watched it all the way to the end so I gave it a 2 star. The ladies are very. Easy on the. Eyes is the only plus.
Bad! Really bad! Cult classic bad!

Was this a film student's project? God, it is awful. The acting is absolutely ridiculous and unrealistic. See your friend get slaughtered? No reaction at all. The writing is some of the worst I have ever had to suffer through. The FX are amateurish: severed hand is OBVIOUSLY rubber. I mean, it is really, really bad. Do not waste your time.
While the idea of the movie was good, they did a terrible job doing it. Awful actors, no screaming what so ever, the effects were the worst and they did not even explain some stuff in the movie. They could have done a better job with the game idea.
The actresses where terrible, they did not even know how to scream properly or give the movie emotion. I hardly put "1" rate to a movie, but this one diserve it. The actress with the lantern was ridiculous because you could see everything perfectly.
To be a 70min movie it was very slow, it need it emotion and suspense and some of the things that happened did not even make any sense.

As a person who has seen a vast number of horror films in my time I can whole heartedly say this is the WORST movie my eyes have ever been forced to endure. I can forgive the low budget props and effects, however there is no excuse for rhe lifeless performances within this production. When a small child who is in it for less than 3 minutes at the end is the best actor in the movie that says it all. Then there is the script... wow what a tragedy that is. People have said the game concept is ok but it is never explained enough to sy such a thing.
My partner and I tried to find one good thing about this film... we are still thinking. PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS MOVIE Life is too short! My partner has suggested watching it as it will make you realise how outstanding all other movies are... but I think paint drying would be more worth your time.

I found this a fairly decent movie. Granted the actresses did lack some kind of emotion and feeling, but giving them the benefit of the doubt, I think they made the movie work with the overall feel of it, and all actors have to start somewhere right?
The concept of the game itself is a really clever and original idea. I think if they had just a slightly higher budget it could have been depicted in a more graphic matter, considering the context of the game itself.
Definitely something that can be re-made into something that could rival Ouija if the budget is high enough. Id love to see a remake with few known faces to see how much of a good film it could actually be.
