First thing that stand out is over acting in the name of realism by some of the actors. How ever Binu pappu, lukman , first judge, gokulan vakkeel and his mom have done well.
Second half is heart touching and you would really feel for the lead role umma.
This is more of a serious drama about people getting dragged in to endless delays of the law and order system. There is not much humor as such and what ever humor they attempted didn't workout.
The umma's son (maheshinte prathikaram villain ) trying to act as a innocent pavam guy was terrible. The villain guy , police SI and umma's sons wife and many others were shouting the dialogs mostly and was irritating.

Brilliant movie the best film of the year for me, superb portrayal of human values and emotions, the climax was so beautiful that felt like I went to a boffey, Highly recommended, please do watch it guys One of the best Malayalam films to come not just in recent times but for ages. Tharun Moorthy takes a simple but a complex plot to weave human emotions around it to deliver a classic. An earnest sophomore outing, reflecting upon a relevant topic of concern that cripples our judicial system, which relies heavily on the performances of its ensemble.
Just set apart everything else and watch this beautiful film.

The movie is a truly heart-wrenching and emotional masterpiece that shone a light on the current state of the Indian judicial system. The acting was top-notch, with every single actor giving it their all and delivering powerful performances.
This movie was an emotional rollercoaster that left me feeling deeply moved by the exceptional acting and heart-touching storyline. The actors truly embodied their characters and brought their emotions to life on the screen, making it easy to become fully immersed in the film. The plot was both poignant and thought-provoking, tackling themes of love, loss, and the human experience in a way that was both raw and honest. Overall, this was a very touchy and moving film that left a lasting impact on me.

What an amazing movie. I went into the movie without knowing anything about the movie and I think this is definitely one of the best malayalam movies that has come out this year. The movie is a courtroom procedural drama to a large extent. What the movie does amazingly is portray such amazing, likable and compelling characters. Amazing performance by debutant devi varma, what an acting. Sujith shankar was awsome, very different character from his previous projects. Danya annanya, binu papu, gokulan, all put forward such amazing performance. The writing is just amazing. I belive tharun moorthy is going to be one of the best writter director in malayalam cinema in comming years. All the technical departments did a great job. Camera work was so amazing. Many shots were designed to make the audience feel they are in middle of all the chaos happening in the courtroom. The movies main plot tries to show the how slow the indian judicial system works, one of the malayalam movie that released previously this year "naa thaan case kodu" Also deals with a similar subject, but I feel this movie conveys it more Efficienctly. Usually court room dramas are thrillers, which try to show secrets of a case revealing in a court, but this movie is very different, they show everything in the beginning as to what had happened, the movie instead tries to show the senslessness caused by simple egos between people and the suffering people go through due to such big and lengthy procedures in the court. I can praise a lot of things in the movie. Definitely a must watch according to me.
From the makers of Operation Java, comes Saudi Vellakka, a film very different from the first one, a film that has seemingly nothing and yet A LOT. I've said it before, I'll say it again, Mollywood storytelling has a tendency to make great films out of a regular daily life story and this is one such.
I don't want to say anything about the plot, but here's what I can say - apparently based on a true story, this is a disheartening yet heartwarming movie w/ commentary on the judicial system and how petty squabbles and personal agendas have long lasting effects on people in ways that we may not know.
Acting, writing, music - great job! This is an example of how you don't need big names to make a GOOD film as long as the story is great. It has nothing overtop, no heroics, no fan-service, and yet, you'd have the satisfaction of having watched a movie that gives you something to take away. Surely watch this one!
