Mila a teenager living with her single mom, suddenly finds herself in an another universe, while trying to peace together why this is happening to her, in hopes to find her mother and trying to get back to her universe.
I never had a problem with the other language speaking, watching the subtitles. But I enjoyed the characters, and the mystery surrounding everything. You really go on the journey with Mila and her friends, trying to outwit the bad guys. I also like the look of the universe there in. Okay it's not a perfect show but it's entertaining, I understand that it's a show not a movie, so it seems to take it's time.

I don't get it I pay Disney a service to provide entertainment in English. Why am I getting a Spanish only program? I can't watch this all I can do is read it, I do not understand the logic. Every program that an English is available in Spanish why is it that a program in Spanish is not available in English? If this is something they are going to continue to do a lot of people will drop Disney. When I watch a movie, I want to be able to get immersed in it and having to read subtitles at the same time, I'm not immersed in it at all it makes it very difficult to watch.
This just makes absolutely no sense.

This production has some pros:
What I don't get are the reviews here that votes the series down, because Disney+ airs them only in the original audio. This is a flaw that has nothing to do with the series, and is highly unfair. If one is not able or willing to read, he or she should bring the protest to Disney, not spoiling the efforts of the persons involved in the production, they have nothing to do with the presentation in Disney+.
Of course, I also don't get the plethora of ten point ratings, friends & family maybe?
- Convincing teen (or so) actors and
- some nicely build environments
- adult actors that act as if they were teens and
- below average story, production values and CGI

The characters straddle the fine line between being wholesome role models while still feeling real enough that kids will identify with them. The only bummer for kids who don't know Portuguese or Spanish is that the series isn't available dubbed in English, so the subtitle reading could turn away some potential fans. Personally I find the show to be very refreshing and Portuguese is such a beautiful language.
Parents need to know that Mila in the Multiverse is a sci-fi series where characters travel between multiple universes. There's a fair amount of scariness and violence -- the evil Operator characters are pretty foreboding, and frequently make threats on the characters' lives. While the content is great for tweens, viewers who don't know Portuguese or Spanish will need to read subtitles of the dialogue; the amount of reading may make it more suitable for slightly older kids.
It's so good!

I did only watch 10 seconds of it and spend 1h afterwards trying to change the language only to find that there are no other language options. I don't get it. Whats the point of not producing other translations? Not even 3% of the worlds population understands this, the rest has to read subtitles. Why bother to make a series if the viewer has to read most of the time an misses all the acting an visuals? It's like going to the theater and some folks are running around the stage with card boards you have to read. Is the acting that bad that you have to distract uns with subtitles? If I wanted to read the conversations I would have read a book. Not even worth one star but one can't give less...
