The Gift of Grace (2021)
The Gift of Grace is a story about a married couple, William Ward (Benjamin Jones) and Cynthia Ward (Blaque Pearl) that's been married for 10 years, they have been through a lot in that time and have faced the struggles that all couples do, they are overflowing with love for their two young girls Parker and Rayne but are they ready for what happens when the love for each other runs dry. William has climbed the corporate ladder and Cynthia is focused on building the Parker and Rayne clothing line, they work hard but their attention is called to very different areas of their lives. Find out what happens when these tensions collide.

    Acting was very poor

    Story line was bland and the acting could have been done by a bunch of middle schoolers. Seemed like everyone was trying to hard to be convincing and waiting for their next line.

    It also didn't look like the actors believed in what they were doing and saying.

    Decent Movie With Spiritual Message

    This movie has a decent enough storyline. I was drawn into the characters. What I did not agree with and did not like is the lack of the background story of the wife. I felt that the wife played an equal part in the husband being distracted because of her obsession with their daughters. The movie never addresses this. The movie addresses the background of the young lady from St. Louis, but not of the wife. The film took the time to highlight the mental state of the wife but never uncover the cause of it, left a void in the movie. In my opinion, this movie is incomplete and should have included why she was so obsessed or overly protective of the girls.

    Why Does EVERY Black Low Budget film PRETEND IT'S filmed in Atlanta??!!

    This film starts with several stock over head shot of Atlanta, that's usually a clue that it was NOT filmed IN Atlanta!!! This one was filmed in St Louis!!!

    Word of advice when there is not ONE known star; they show ONLY overhead shots of Atlanta; and the movie it self is a HOT flaming mess,just find another one to watch! I actually live IN Atlanta, and I am EVERLASTING TIRED of posers who tell others"I live in Atlanta " when they actually live up to 50 miles away, and can't even name a street in Atlanta but Peachtree St.!!!!!! This is 2025,not 1925, so once they put your HOME address in Google or any other seach engine it will show where you REALLY live.

    Thoroughly enjoyed the message and as well the delivery.

    I love how they used believable, real and gorgeous actors/actresses. The story line was great. It seems they believed in the message they were trying to convey. Where have they been hiding all of this good talent; never before seen, fresh faces?! I enjoyed seeing diversity in ranges of color and size, being used throughout the movie. Adorable and refreshing!

    Good reminders and lessons for us all

    This movie was a good one. First, I am a St. Louis guy and loved the flavor of St. Louis throughout. Second, it was a good reminder of the importance of our faith and keeping good relationships. Forgiveness and Grace are key to good relations, and this movie demonstrates it. It was like a Hallmark movie, but with a really good spiritual emphasis. Guys, you should watch this movie and take some good queues from the main character and his almost pitfall (no spoilers here). Ladies, forgive and love those in your life. I think there were some return actors and first time actors in this, so it was a good mix of watching experienced performers and some new people do a good job.
