Sleep Talker

I feel like this horror short took a bit too long to reach the climax. It definitely could have been shorter, but on the other hand, it did succeed in building a slow-burning suspense. There's some repetitive action along the way, and I was expecting the explosive horror moment to arrive much earlier. It didn't-but when it finally did, it was worth the wait!

Something about it reminded me of 1980s horror, possibly leaning toward the horror-comedy side, which added a touch of nostalgia. The sleep recorder the woman used also gave me retro vibes-I actually used a similar device for work about 15 years ago. All in all, a nice little horror flick!
