"Spy" by Garry Bh is a film that utterly disappoints on every level. At first glance, one might question the legitimacy of other reviews praising this disaster of a movie. The plot is an incoherent mess, jumping from one poorly executed scene to another. The attempts at humor are painfully forced, leaving the audience cringing rather than laughing. The lackluster performances from the cast, including some recognizable names, are a disheartening reminder of wasted talent. The dialogue feels like a first draft, with no depth or nuance. Even the most forgiving viewer will struggle to find anything redeeming in this cinematic travesty. Save yourself the agony and avoid "Spy" at all costs.
Action sequences seems unrealistic. Though movies often contain elements of fantasy and fiction, but they are still expected to maintain a sense of realism to keep the audience engaged. Unrealistic scenes can sometimes be distracting and may hinder the viewer's ability to connect with the story or characters. Striking a balance between creative storytelling and believable portrayals is essential for a movie to be successful in captivating its audience. The storyline showed promise, but the acting could have been more polished to fully bring the narrative to life. Stronger performances would have added depth and authenticity to the characters, enhancing the overall impact of the movie on the audience.
Took me a while to understand it was not a spoof. Not even a single scene has a logic in it. RAW should sue this director for using the agency's name in it. Director thought of riding on the country's sentiments, but it blew up on the face. Even a debut director would never direct such a senseless movie; this shows how much sincerity he showed in directing this movie. Gun fights - where only hero can fire, villain and team try their bests not to fire. Not even once I could connect as an audience to believe that hero is a good agent at least. Felt like entire unit tried to make a film with zero interesting scene. It's not even a movie.
Do not waste your time watching this nonsensical movie. Screenplay at its worst. Editing team must be high on something when they did the post production. No logics at all in any of the scenes. Please stop doing such useless movies and audience must stop supporting such movies. Director looks like an amateur just out of grade 10. BGM in the fights is just Ctrl C and Ctrl V from Bond theme music. Too many unnecessary scenes. At the end of the movie it feels like what the hell did I see. Even if seen in parts, this movie is the worst movie made. The lead doesn't know what the senior is telling, suddenly when the lead's junior asks a question, the lead knows everything. I mean common....
It's disheartening to witness poorly crafted movies. The film lacks coherence and fails to deliver a meaningful storyline. I believe even an inexperienced person could create a more engaging plot, write better dialogue, and direct improved acting performances. While the hero's portrayal was passable, the heroine's performance was particularly disappointing. On a positive note, the main villain's acting truly stood out and deserves praise.
They attempted to engage the audience with an overly affectionate portrayal of our country, but those scenes felt like they were trying to make a bad movie even worse. After watching the movie, I feel like anyone could join RAW. The most amusing thing is that in the beginning, they tried to present the movie as a realistic RAW agent film, but after watching it, I feel like a RAW agent falling in love with an ISI agent is not a bad plot.
