I loved this movie but honestly it was hard to watch. Because I had a similar situation a few years ago. Except I wasn't in high school and the only relationship I form with him was friends. But things go weird he started asking me for bad pic and videos. He even hacked my laptop went through my videos and photos saved them. He even sold them to other guys. I never knew what he looked like or sounded. But he was like 20 to 30 mins from me. He said he seen me at work he knew where I worked I never told him. At the end he said I know you parents are home when I never told him that. I told my best friend which he hacked my Facebook messager too. That is how he found out. I tried to make up excuses to why I can't sent him thing or videos. Told me if I did he would sent my fiancé everything. Which at the end he did but his mistake was he blocked out what he said to me and just showed how I was trying to talk myself put of it. So my fiancé believed me. It's been 3 to 4 years and I still live in fear still can't bearly sleep and always looking around me when I go out.
My wife and I watch LOTS of Lifetime Movies. We have seen some really good ones, some average ones and, yes, some real stinkers. This movie falls in that first category. The three young actresses made the girls they were playing seem real, and you really cared for them. The tech details were pretty darn accurate and the whole movie shows how people can use the internet and stay oh, so invisible.
When you watched some of the dastardly things "Blake" did to the girls, it made you want to see him really get what was coming to him....and he did.
Someone might say the theme of this is for young people to not be so trusting and post a lot of private things. A bigger theme, to me, is that ANYONE- not just young people, can be trapped by phishing schemes, and there is a need to build more safety measures in new technology.
This was a very good movie and we encourage all to watch it.

Okay, now I understand that there are weak individuals with the common sense of a grapefruit. But this mess is hard to stomach when none of these girls confide in their parents. So as per this rendition, parents are slackers with zero communication skills with their children. And the children are a bunch of dimwitted obnoxious surly little "and I won't write what I really want to say"
Anyway, if these so-called girls who refuse to open their mouths when put into this type of predicament, I feel zero sympathy for them and you can place this on the director and writers of this hogwash. I mean seriously, one mom look at this and the police tracking it back to the source. But noooo, we get three idiots from the same school being bullied into sending nude photos, like those won't get shared as well.

I think every young person should watch this movie so as to not become a victim like these girls did. So very sad that this happens so much this world is really screwed up.
Seriously... it's movies like this that doesn't put the onus on young people and their actions. The movie was interesting but the one sided blame is overrated. The young actors did a great job and the movie keeps interest but at the end of the day, make movies that show how all parties are responsible.
Did you know
- GoofsThis movie is supposed to take place in Connecticut but the police car's license plate is New Hampshire.
