Remember Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2006? After i saw it i was amazed, entertained and i said to myself "Top That!" and i hoped they'll top it. But ever since, V.S shows became tackier and tackier, the music is not catchy like it used to be and the models behavior...we'll talk about it later, hold on.

V.S 2009 starts nice, with a B.E.P performance (mediocre...it's black eyed peas for god's sake!), models (starting with Alessandra) come down the runaway doing stupid things on it like DANCING with the singers or shaking their stuff and laughing like it was really funny. I always wondered why can't they just stick to walking and showing off beauty?

Along with this, they made some sort of contest. The winner gets to be a VS Angel. Yes!!!! Thousand of girls showed up and they narrowed it down to 10...5...2...1. Wow, great. The winner to me is a big *YAWN*. Either make this contest a separate thing and put it on air (before the show begins), either don't show it at all. Don't make a shallow little t.v-show and incorporate it in a fashion show. The only model i liked this year was Doutzen. Even though she blew some unnecessary kisses on the catwalk she was nice and not over-the-top.

It's a fashion show after all...watch it for your own entertainment. And to see real beauty. They are gorgeous!

I generally look at VS fashion show for fashion and the fabulous models...

however...VS 2009 hardly showed any buildup of the fashion or models at all and focused on a drab competition to pick some girls to walk in the show. :( I thought that was of waste of time I should have spent doing something else. Focusing on a competition made me lose sight of the main reason ...Fashion..There are no memorable moments...On top of that a lot of diversity was missing with the models....

the show is focusing too much on behind the scenes and not enough on the fashion creativity that inspires the models.. 3 stars for BEP's
