Practically the same as PJ Masks except they've tried to be noticeably more inclusive with cast. It is a shame the creators could not have come up with something a bit more original, the cast even have practically the same costumes as in PJ Masks! If this programme had been for a university assignment I'm pretty sure it would have failed for copying another programme.
I find myself having to watch some of my kids shows when I'm relaxing with them. Action Pack is something they found somewhat entertaining.
However as an adult I can see why there are negative reviews. Oddly enough no one seems to find them helpful, weird. From my perspective as an adult I can see laziness from Netflix. There is nothing that makes this really different or better than existing shows. More specifically PJ Masks and Super Monsters are good shows that have the same plot as action pack. This is just a corporate mashing of two shows with different characters. There is no new imagination and thought. Its cookie cutter bases on the other shows.
I would have preferred that the original shows introduce new diverse characters. If you want to teach children about inclusion of different ethnic backgrounds and behaviors you can make a better move by adding. You can show behaviors about accepting new a different people the group.
When you just create a new show where everyone is different and there all friends from the start... so what. IMO this show was created quickly and with haste to fill a woke/diversity checkbox ... nothing about it is original.

Great show that produces client engaging young kids with a diverse & inclusive mix of characters! Although similar to other children's shows, it does have a stark difference in balance and education! I can't wait for future seasons to come out & I'm not annoyed with the content or dialogue at all!
I love this show for my children. There are not many shows like this. The characters are diverse so children will feel represented within the super-heroes. The show sends a very strong message about kindness and that it is ok and good to feel your emotions. This is such an important message for children--and adults too! What I like is that the show says common things that kids say or hear around them such as "that's weird" and then the superhero will comment with "that is unkind" , the reason behind it, and how one can be kind. In other words, the show explicitly tells the viewers what the kind thing to do is. After watching an episode you can spark a conversation with children about the issue it spoke on. This is a show I hope goes on to have lots of seasons so my kids can enjoy. I understand there is another show that other reviewers mention that it reminds them of. I do not let my kids watch that other show because I do not find much value in it. Action Pack, on the other hand, I find valuable.
My kid likes this show and that's all that matters, however this is essentially Hero Elementary from PBS Kids... just with better animation. It's not a bad show, just been done before.
