There are so many kids shows to count on Netflix and most of the kid's shows aimed at preschool children only got my interest once I discovered The Creature Cases.
The character designs are mostly cute. Two of the designs that really got my attention are Sam Snow and Kit Casey. I really love how the creators of Octonauts made those characters and they looked really good. But it's not just the character designs of Sam and Kit that really got my attention it is actually the bond between those two characters. Not only did they both work together in C. L. A. D. E. But they absolutely share the same bond with one another and show they mostly treat each other. Plus they are absolutely relatable. Most notable are Kit Casey who is sometimes a sloth who takes things dirty and Sam Snow who sometimes takes things organized and clean. They have a really good relationship and it almost has the Nick and Judy vibe from Zootopia but both predators with different subfamilies
However, as with the usual preschool show the story is just okay I guess. Obviously, there are no fight scenes or arresting animals but at least I get to learn more about the facts files of the animals although it's pretty repetitive all the time. And I get interesting characters like Wally who looks more like a comic relief character Barb the scorpion who has the tough girl look and is almost reminded of Miss Tarantula from The Bad Guys and finally Roxy Raider the raccoon who would have been such an interesting villain character and she has potential to return on future seasons.
The Creature Cases may look like it's just another preschool show that is all about solving cases but this absolutely a really cute show to watch and the relationship between Sam and Kit really carried it.

My brother is so obsesed with this show he binged it 30+ Times now the song FACT FILE is stuck in my head it dosent act like kids are idiots and is like a detective show recomend it for 8 and below.
My daughter is 2.5 and loves this show. I find the cases interesting and I really enjoy the bit at the end where they show the actual animal they ate investigating, I.e a giraffe, raccoon, etc. I am used to her watching nonstop singing shows like Cocomelon or Bebefin, so this is a very nice and welcomed change of pace. The episodes are about 30 mins I think, with 2-3 stories/cases per episode and I think that is great. She also loves bluey, but I am not a fan of the 10-12 minute long episodes personally.
I personally prefer this to Bluey, Blippi, Ms. Rachel, Cocomelon, bebefin, baby shark, etc.

I love the approach to this show. I really do. To me, this is Octonauts Above & Beyond, Mira, Royal Detective, and British spy media mixed in a blender. Both of the former two are really great preschool cartoons. And what a masterpiece this show is!
Sam and Kit are really good partners in this show, and maybe that's mostly because their opposing personalities make them a great example of "opposites attract partners." Sam is a germaphobic man who is serious about his tasks, while Kit is a silly free-spirited girl. And I really love how their British accents sound perfect for these characters being detectives/special agents.
The only reason it's a 9/10 instead of a 10/10 is because of the "fact file" song. It's just kind of annoying and hard to hear.
Overall? If this show can combine three really great pieces of media into one masterpiece of media, then this has to be the best show from Silvergate Media so far, and it's only rivaled by SuperKitties, which came out a year after this.

I like watching this show with my kids. It's fun, educational and well written. But not written in a way that assumes kids are morons like a lot of other children's programs. Recommend it.

- TriviaDuring each closing sequence, one sees, for an instant, Bill and Jill with non-glamoury black sunglasses. That is during a sequence where they are putting on their silver reflective sunglasses to prepare for dance. In other words, they wear sunglasses under their sunglasses.
