Vidkun Quisling: Leader, Humanitarian, Hero

You can watch this "film" on archive.org - but I would not recommend it.

It is badly made (just images and texts thrown together) - very low production value, void of any critical thinking. Boring to watch, really has no place at all.

To call Quisling a Humanitarian is nauseating - he is personally responsible for the deaths of many of his own countrymen and -women.

The correct title would be Vidkun Quisling: Traitor, Murderer, Disgraced.

The Einsatzgruppen, including units like Quisling's, were responsible for the mass murder of over a million people, primarily Jews, but also including Roma, Soviet POWs, and others deemed "undesirable" by the Nazi regime.

It's important to note that:

Quisling was a collaborator: He led the puppet government of Norway during the German occupation and actively aided the Nazis in their persecution of the Norwegian population.

Individual responsibility: While it's difficult to pinpoint the exact number of killings directly attributable to Quisling himself, he bears significant responsibility for the atrocities committed in Norway under his rule.

The Holocaust was a horrific event, and it's crucial to remember the victims and learn from this dark period in history.

Very interesting, especially the speeches. Maybe Vidkun Quisling was not the great traitor we have been told. The documentary is definitely worth a watch.
