A beautiful film, for craft of each part, the beginning reminding the old fashion fairy tales , for the gentle Mia, so kind and so wise acted by Celeste Luccitti moment by moment, for the doll who is just beautiful and, not the last, for not so surprising end, reminding the confession - advise of shop owner.

A film like a breeze. And if you do not ignore than it is the first film of the young director, the well done is deserved in profound manner.

A fun and suspenseful watch with a strong performance from Celeste Luccitti and solid filmmaking across the board, including the writing, cinematography, sound design, and editing.

Considering this is the first short film Luccitti has written and directed, it's actually remarkably well executed. The story is particularly strong, making great use of limited resources to deliver a short thriller that doesn't feel artificially limited, but instead seems to be exactly what it was intended to be.

The skill with which "Charity" was executed definitely makes me look forward to what Luccitti will be doing in the future, and I'm sure it'll be interesting to look back at this first film to see the origins of the skill and technique for which she'll eventually be well known.
