Sofía and her family move to Río Vivo, where her parents will become rangers for the Selenkay National Park. When Sofía falls into the water of a lake and risks drowning after getting unconscious, something very mysterious that she cannot explain takes place. Soon Sofía and her family realize that they are not the only new residents and students of the town when they meet the Fénix, three brothers with an aura of mystery.

Sofía is happy to finally have the life she's always wanted, but there's a strange strength inside her that she doesn't understand and scares her. Their parents try to maintain a facade of normality and hide their secrets, and their siblings struggle to adapt to school life. Meanwhile, the mysterious Fénix brothers begin remodeling the old blacksmith shop to set up a bar and set their plan to find what has brought them to that town.

Sofia doesn't quite understand what's wrong with the water and tries to avoid the subject, but it's stronger than her. After a strange episode in navigation class, Diana begins to notice there's something off with her new friend. As part of his mission, Gael starts to get closer to Sofía, despite his family's overprotection. Meanwhile, Flox continues to struggle to adjust to school life, while Lupo has an awkward encounter with Rafael.

The opening of the Fénix bar is approaching and Sofía is anxious to go to her first party, but her parents forbid her. Furthermore, Diana is mad at her and refuses to talk to the girl. Willing to do anything, Sofía finds a way to attend the big event, but everything quickly gets complicated. At the same time, Lupo starts working at the bar to keep an eye on the Fénix brothers, while Flox makes new friends.

Confused by what happened at the party, Sofía confides in Tacu and he introduces her to a new friend, who seems to have the answers she is looking for. As the hours pass, Flox begins to remember what really happened to him after following Gael. Rafael uses his newfound friendship with Emilia to gain more information that will lead him to complete his mission, while Gael makes an important discovery.

With her parents' permission, Sofía decides to spend a few days at Navera's house to get answers about what is happening to her and the water. In a house on the hill, far from everything, Navera trains Sofía to control her powers. Meanwhile, the Fénix continue to lurk and get closer and closer to their goal. Gael is conflicted and must make a decision.

Sofia doesn't understand the Phoenix brothers' interest in her. Meanwhile, Navera confirms her suspicions and warns Iris and Pedro of the dangers that await them. Flox starts to wonder if her parents have told her the whole truth. Desperate to uncover the truth, Sofía falls into a trap that could be deadly.

With the whole truth on the table, Sofía and Gael find themselves at a crossroads. Torn between her instincts and her feelings, Sofía has to make a decision about what to do. Meanwhile, Rafael doesn't give up and makes new plans to reach his goal.
