Katharina Henriks loves her job as director of a vocational school on the Flensburg Fjord. With humor and empathy, she is responsible for 2,000 students and a 100-member teaching staff. City Councilor Olsen's threat of funding cuts makes her just as uncomfortable as his idea of hiring his brother Erik as a guest lecturer. The professionally successful school dropout and widely traveled food blogger not only appeals to Katharina's assistant, but also makes a big impression on the culinary class. To the chagrin of his director, Erik encourages his student Jonas's sense of adventure - unaware of his problems. The boss of his training company is threatening to fire him: She wants to force her 18-year-old daughter, who is dating the trainee and wants nothing more to do with her family, to come home.
