Very Good.

No wonder the film has received so many awards. Our society should get rid of this stigma against mental illnesses. It's a very relevant subject. I could understand many things about BPD.

A very original presentation of BPD!

I've had a girlfriend with borderline personality disorder and have gone through lots of intense relationship struggles. Personally, the film was very relatable to me.

Brilliant direction. Detailing of the central character was impressive! Amy's notebook, tattoo on her shoulders, books on her table, her obsessions and hallucinations made a lot of sense.

The music was fabulous in building the tension. And, of course, the heroine's performance is commendable.

About the climax, I feel it could have been more positive.

The actress who was initially cast for Amy's character backed out of the film just one day before the shoot date, saying her parents didn't allow her to do the scenes where she was required to smoke a cigarette! It disrupted the entire production schedule and delayed the shoot by a month.

In the auditions done after that, the makers finalized Asseel Marikar for the role of Amy, and she just nailed it with her acting skills. Asseel's performance became crucial in the success of the film, and later, the director thanked the previously cast actress for not taking up Amy's character.
