Both Martin Henderson (Ben Keeton) and Jason George (Otis Cole) play similar roles in Grey's Anatomy (2005-), Henderson is a cardio-surgeon and George is an intern.
In the Pilot episode Minard is given a chicken from a patient, which she keeps as a pet and names "Dinner". Toward the end of the series, she gets a chick and names it "Appetizer".
The show got canceled after season 1.
