Deborah Secco in Confessions of a Brazilian Call Girl (2011)

Trivia

Confessions of a Brazilian Call Girl

Edit
Drica Moraes was diagnosed with leukemia and shot all her scenes before starting her treatment. Cured, she stated the memory she has from the film is that she is now "alive".
Director Marcus Baldini originally didn't want Deborah Secco to star in the film as he felt her image wasn't sexually appealing enough for the role. Secco then welcomed him into her house dressed up as what she thought Bruna would wear. She was then cast in the role.
Raquel Pacheco stated that Cássio Gabus Mendes's character Huldson represents the men that attempted to take her off prostitution and failed.
Previously, actress Karen Junqueira was cast in the title role but quit due to schedule conflicts. She would later portray a prostitute in the Brazilian HBO series Preamar (2012).
Originally titled "O Doce Veneno do Escorpião" ("The Scorpion's Sweet Venom") as the novel it is based on.

Cameo

Raquel Pacheco: The waitress at the restaurant where Raquel/Bruna and Hudson have dinner.
