The storyline was trash. The actors and actresses were good but it was a badly written script. I wastes my time watching this please don't be like me.
The actors did so well doing their part and I think the actress fits the character "Daisy" well and so are the other characters, my feelings were roller coaster throughout this movie, I think it's quite good. I haven't watched the original movie yet, but I the actors and actresses portrayed their characters and roles very well. I just finished watching it and I have goosebumps all over. Though it needs some improvement because I felt like the gap between scenes are too vacant and empty. However, I love how the actors played their roles and they introduced their characters really well. For example, we know that Daisy is a very gentle and naive girl, she has this strong maternal energy in her and she finds suicidal stuff fascinating. Also ummm I forgot his name, he's the husband, what I know about him is that he has a very patriarchal personality. Hopefully my review helps :>
The Housemaid is a remake of a 2010 Korean movie of the same name. Aside from the location and possible cultural differences, the movies are quite similar in terms of story and characters. The only major difference is the lead character, Daisy (played by Kylie Verzosa), who is so beautiful that you'd be forgiven for thinking she had been created via an AI simulation. These slight changes do add a great deal of legitimacy to the proceedings, however, as the gap between the rich and poor in the Philippines is quite large - and then who could possibly blame the father and his wandering eyes?
As far as remakes go, The Housemaid is absolutely fine if you're not familiar with the Korean template. It doesn't really add anything new for those familiar with the original however. But I am still going to give this a recommendation, if only for Kylie Verzosa's bath-cleaning performance.

Wow what a complete copy of the original Korean movie "The Housemaid (2010)" . The title, the story, the plot, even the script, everything. Just wow... I am just a little bit entertained with the actress. Ya this Phillipines one is much more prettier than the Korean one. The guy is more good looking too.

It's all about seeing skin and not very much about thrilling the audience. Probably deserves a 3, but am feeling harsh today. Good luck and hopefully some will find joy in a pointless movie about a time immemorial plot that has been overused.
